Computer programing is codes that allow the computer to understand instructions. Programing allows people and computers to communicate more easily. Certain programs tells a computer how to perform a specific task. Like when you are playing a game, before you play that game you have to download it to the computer. That program is teaching the computer on how to play that game.


Writing computer programs means writing instructions, that will make the computer follow and run a program based on those instructions that were given. The program instructs the computer in a language that it understands. There are several types of programs for the computer, such as the word processing, data base, spreadsheet,research and etc.


Bits and bytes allow computers to understand information because both terms refer to digital data transmitted over a network connection. And they both may represent network addresses or different port numbers. NOT gates work by taking one bit as a input and produces as an output. And a AND gate is a digital logic gate that implements logical conjunction. It behaves according to the truth table. And lastly ad OR gate is when the output is high when either or both of inputs A or B is high.

Question of the Day: How has technology changed the way people prepare for and celebrate holidays?

It gives people the opportunity to search and see what places have the things they want and what sells are going on.

Question of the Day: How much homework should teachers give during a vacation? Why?

I think that teachers shouldn't give any homework during a vacation because that is suppose to be our time to ourselves and our family. Its not suppose to be time for work and school its suppose to be time for us to relax and get away from school instead of being in the house worrying about what homework we go to do.

Do you Text at the Dinner Table?

Sometimes I do text at the dinner table because there might not be family sitting and eating with me at the dinner table. If im sitting at the table by myself and theres no one there to eat with me then im going to feel free to text as much as I want.

I would even text If my friends are at the table because we all do it. Is part of a teenagers life. What we dont do is text pass the salt because we can easily say that out loud. We also do not text each other we text other people in our phones.

Now if our parents is at the dinner table and we are having a family dinner then thats the only time we do not text at the dinner table. Well I know that I dont because its very rude to text while your having family time. My mother and father gets very angry when I do text and tells me to put it away. I just listen to them because I know it is very rude and I wouldn't want anyone to text while im trying to talk and have a discussing.

Question of the Day: How does technology affect the thinking patterns of the teenagers of today?

It influences them on things that are unnecessary to learn and to know about.

Question of the Day: What do you think is the greatest problems facing the teenagers of today?

I think that peer pressure is the greatest problem today that teenagers have because every teen is being influenced to do things that they sometimes dont want to do. Its just the fact of being pressured to someone that your not, just to fit in.

Question of the Day: How old do you think someone should be before they are allowed to create a Facebook account? Why?

I think that you should be at least 13 to have a Facebook because it is more on a teenage level of maturity.

Question of the Day: How old do you think someone should be before they are allowed to play violent video games? Should parents buy violent video games for minors? Why?

i think that you should be at least 13 to play video games. No parents should not buy violent video games for their children because they shouldn't want their children to copy off of those video games.

Question of the Day: Should stores sell violent video games to minors?

No i do not think that store should sell violent video games to minors because those minors may try to copy what they see and it would all end up in a bad situation.

Question of the Day: How are your own teachers using technology? Does it help you learn? Do you have any suggestions for ways that your school can better use technology to promote learning and class participation?

Our own teachers are using technology by putting our grades on the internet and giving us things to do on the internet. It helps you learn like any other book or teacher. I just think that our school should upgrade on the computers in some classes. I also think that there should be more activities in the computer that we can do.

Question of the Day: Do you have a smartphone or other device on which to download apps? What are your favorites? Why? Even if you don’t have one of these devices, what apps seem most entertaining, useful or valuable?

Yes i do have apps on my phone. The only thing is, is that i have to pay for them so I do not have a favorite one.

Question of the Day: How much should parents in general know about their teenagers’ life online? Why?

Parents should be able to know who their children are talking to and the language they are using with certain people. The reason why is because parents should always want to keep their children safe.

Are your tech habits hurting your grades?

I believe that the teach habits are not effecting our grades because if you could really sit there and concentrate then you would be ably to get work done. I do not spend as much time and money texting. I may sometimes do some home work and then check on Facebook when im done but other than that I just do all my home work right then and there.

I do not find it hard to focus on ur school work because it all depends on what kind of student you are. If your a focused student you would wait until u finish your school work to play games and get on the internet.

Some parents may have rules to use the computers but if you are responsible then your parents shouldn't have to set rules for using the computer. Its mostly all about you and what your motives are.

Question of the Day: How do you think your life would be different without the Internet? How do you think your life would be different without Computers?

If we didn't have any computers or internet we would all be using books and reading more. It would be very boring and there would be nothing fun to do. I would say everyone would not know whats new without computers. Things would be different mentally and physically.

Question of the Day: Do you think people are more likely to review a product they like or a product they dislike? Why?

I would say that people would review a product that they dislike to see what it really is all about. To see if it would be worth getting and changing their minds to get it.
