Computer programing is codes that allow the computer to understand instructions. Programing allows people and computers to communicate more easily. Certain programs tells a computer how to perform a specific task. Like when you are playing a game, before you play that game you have to download it to the computer. That program is teaching the computer on how to play that game.
Writing computer programs means writing instructions, that will make the computer follow and run a program based on those instructions that were given. The program instructs the computer in a language that it understands. There are several types of programs for the computer, such as the word processing, data base, spreadsheet, research and etc.
Bits and bytes allow computers to understand information because both terms refer to digital data transmitted over a network connection. And they both may represent network addresses or different port numbers. NOT gates work by taking one bit as a input and produces as an output. And a AND gate is a digital logic gate that implements logical conjunction. It behaves according to the truth table. And lastly ad OR gate is when the output is high when either or both of inputs A or B is high.

Do you Text at the Dinner Table?
Sometimes I do text at the dinner table because there might not be family sitting and eating with me at the dinner table. If im sitting at the table by myself and theres no one there to eat with me then im going to feel free to text as much as I want.
I would even text If my friends are at the table because we all do it. Is part of a teenagers life. What we dont do is text pass the salt because we can easily say that out loud. We also do not text each other we text other people in our phones.
Now if our parents is at the dinner table and we are having a family dinner then thats the only time we do not text at the dinner table. Well I know that I dont because its very rude to text while your having family time. My mother and father gets very angry when I do text and tells me to put it away. I just listen to them because I know it is very rude and I wouldn't want anyone to text while im trying to talk and have a discussing.

Are your tech habits hurting your grades?
I believe that the teach habits are not effecting our grades because if you could really sit there and concentrate then you would be ably to get work done. I do not spend as much time and money texting. I may sometimes do some home work and then check on Facebook when im done but other than that I just do all my home work right then and there.
I do not find it hard to focus on ur school work because it all depends on what kind of student you are. If your a focused student you would wait until u finish your school work to play games and get on the internet.
Some parents may have rules to use the computers but if you are responsible then your parents shouldn't have to set rules for using the computer. Its mostly all about you and what your motives are.

Question of the Day: Evaluate your project today(200 points). Title your post Podcast Evaluation. Write a three paragraph evaluation that answers all the questions below about your project.
My project informs others by telling them what they need to know about software. It gives them important information about when sofware was invented and what types of software is out there. It helps you understand the basics of software and what security would be best for your software. The information that was used was used appropriately to my understanding. It should be good information that would help a person with software. It gives everything that a person would look for.
The product does satisfy the requirements that was originally defined. It shows everything from start to finish in a timely manner. It provides the most information there is. You could use a set of criteria that would tell whether or not there was enough information to take in and use when needed. Whether it had a lot of sources and was good to use in future references.
I could make the project better by adding more music and improving it with little touches of art. I think i did my best because my project came out nice and got done. I am proud of my self for doing a full project. This skill would be good for future references.

Question of the Day:Write a blog post stating your opinion. Do you think this is right? Is this cheating? What would you do? What happens when you get a job and don't know what to do? Would you go to a Doctor who did this?
No I do not think this is right because it is just another way of cheating. Its just another way to take the easy way out. I would not use that site to cheat and get the answers but I would use it to get extra help and understand the work better. When you get a job and don't know what to do that just shows that you must of cheated on everything you did to get that job. It wouldn't be fair for the people who really try and don't cheat. They're trying to do it the right way and make it in life and you just getting by, by cheating. If I went to a doctor and he didn't know what he was doing because he cheated on all his tests from a website, then I would leave that doctor and would sue to get my money back. Its just wrong to cheat because you don't learn anything and it would effect you in the long run.

I think that students should be given a choice to weather or not they want to read traditional books or electronic books. I would say that electronic books would be best for on the go with dealing with you cellphone. Traditional books would be more on the school environment area because there are no cellphones allowed in the classroom.
I believe that the reading you improve dramatically because since it would be on an electronic device everyone would read it because that mostly what everyone have in the 21st century. This would also increase or help students whit reading disabilities. If the book it electronic then it would be able to read it out for them. It also depends on what you are learning. If it has something to do with science then it would be best if you use the digital books. This would help everyone with a business job and it would make life easier as we go on. I would hope to see the digital book later on in the future.

Cycle 1 Test 2 ICT 1&2
To me people who say unkind things on the internet are just mean and have nothing better else to do with their life. The way people express their feelings on the internet in a negative way just show how they are in real life. The people who say unkind things to other people on the internet have low self esteem.
If someone said something mean to me on the computer or on the telephone I would feel hurt but at the same time I would ignore it because I know that they are only doing that to get their self esteem back up.
To me there is no difference between the telephone and the computer because either way it will all come out the same and hurt the same way. If you really have low self esteem then you would have the heart to do it over the telephone.

Question of the Day: How do you know if the information you find on line is accurate and truthful?
To me you don't know so you just have to take as much information as you can from different websites and look over it and see if the information is the same.
